News Illustration Project

In this assignment, the student is required to illustrate an image that pertains to a news story as well as its topic in order to develop a detail oriented composition.

In my final version called “Pandora’s Tunnel”, the emphasis on the unexpected behavior attributed through coronavirus spread is used symbolically. Additionally, pandora is depicted through the yellow on the more “organic” or demonized side of the well while the more engineered side swells in artificiality.

Progress Report: Environmental Color and Form

For this assignment, we are to gather a full understanding of the environment and it’s autumn colors, and to capture its form. Such as trees, fern, leaves, and grass which all have their distinct colors.

My goal is to play further with form digitally and potentially with different mediums through Alfreds fall colors m.

(And a bonus with wildlife)
