Math anxiety is real, and I hoped to encompass the feelings of hopelessness by conveying the overall nature of the phenomenon. Forgetting equations, numbers, and losing our train of thought are all prevalent in the article though there are more important contributors to the issue. Parenting and growing up are both two important segue-ways that can help others going through the same issue.

3D Modular Constructs

In this assignment, the student is required to construct several 3D module using plywood. This module must be enclosed and must include creative though and careful thinking.

The first step to making these designs involves plywood, which would then be laser cut into shapes of our choosing. These shapes would then be sanded and glued with wood glue. After that, the glued modules are to be painted with Gesso and sanded again to ensure smoothness and percision. These modules are then documented In three separate environments.

The first environment is the interaction with people. I’ve decided to choose only one person and a tutor specifically to assist me. At first I was going to photograph a different student but I wanted to capture a different atmosphere from someone else.

The second illustration is from a fictional environment, so of course I tried to keep this as unrealistic as possible. Note: the lack of shadows were intentional.

The third depicts the modules in nature, which feels very abstract in terms of appeal.

Film Synopsis.

The story begins with a beautiful view of the sky, a young lad named Aizayah Mingo looks up in anguish. His anguish is fueled by the constant thoughts of what is to come of his life and what is to see as well as who he might encounter in his travels in college. There is a strong sense of foreboding, since it is only his first semester in college and with that comes a distinction between his life out of college and in college as well. This strong sense of reflection gives Aizayah the purpose to keep moving forward and keep doing the work he can do. One day, Aizayah stumbles upon a few people in the same hall as him and is confronted by them. The next day during class, Aizayah finds this same group is in the same digital foundations class as him. To make things worse for him, he must deal with getting over a cold and must deal with sitting in the front where everyone else can see him. The professor assigns a group project that serves as an ice breaker and in turn will make him come out of his shell. Aizayah, being not interested in any form of communication, find that these people hold a certain importance to him as he is forced to be in a group with them. Coincidentally, Aizayah sees that he lacks social skills through conversation and physical cues. Working on his social awkwardness, he finds comfort and composure through reading and participating in other things such as going for walks, participating in events, sleeping, and eating food. Stumbling upon a book one day in the library gives Aizayah the power he requires when in desperate need to get out of his shell and become to speak out during conversations and becoming more involved with the group. The group understands that he was unable speak to them in any form. Aizayah invests more of his time reading and talking to his newly founded group members in order to construct their group work. The next day, one of Aizayah’s group members tries to talk with him one on one and it is revealed that his group member had words of encouragement to share with him and how he has gone through similar things. This heart to heart gave him the motivation to complete the final stretch with his group. Aizayah is now a newly included member of their friend group.
