Appearances are an efficient way to outline vectors in an Illustrator document. For instance, if we use Command Y or Control Y, it’d outline the vectors in the document.

RGB vs. CMYK

In this exercise, RGB and CMYK are explained in terms of their purpose. The color mode RGB has an additive value when all are mixed together and are primarily used for websites. CMYK on the other hand is a color mode with a subtractive value and is primarily used for printing.

Self Portrait (09/04/2018) 11×14 Graphite on Bristol Paper

The graphite on Bristol was inspired by my curiosity and need to experiment. My primary inspiration was to use blending and display contrast with the best of my ability, though I do also feel that I could’ve done a lot better with the contrast along the face. another thing I tried experimenting with was my usage of different pencil types to display more of an exotic piece. Another thing in this piece that could’ve done a lot better is the proportions. Originally, the composition was altered from the photo reference. Altogether, the piece could’ve held up a lot better.
